Driver attempts to evade police chase using smoke screen and spikes

A driver in Lithuania channeled James Bond and attempted to evade police by deploying a smoke screen and spikes, police say.


Dash cam footage of the chase, which occurred on Thursday on the outskirts of the city MarijampolÄ—, show police in pursuit of a tan Volvo. 


But when the cops get too close, the driver begins to release a smoke screen.




A few moments later, the screen is covered with a thick cloud of grey smoke, and when the cops don't stand down, the driver of the Volvo releases spikes in an attempt to takeout one of the cruiser's tires. Read more...
